Trip list 2004

WEEKLY PADDLES WILL BE ON SUNDAYS AND THURSDAYS

The Thursday paddles will either be day or evening paddles and will depend on weather and sea conditions. Watch for details/changes via email.

For the Sunday Paddles, meet at Plates.

The trip list will continue to evolve as the season arrives.  Please feel free to add to this list. New trips will be discussed at the Thurs. Paddle club meeting.  See you all there.

Where paddles leave from Plates restaurant:  breakfast at 8:30 departure 9:30

SNOWBIRDS   Paddle to spit point and observe the Snowbirds overhead. Meet at Goose Spit, 9:30 am. Bring Chair.

Trip ratings

 

Easy: Protected waters, up to 3 miles one way

 

Moderate: Up to 1 mile of open water (crossing) and/or up to 6 miles one way -- includes portages.

 

Difficult or Strenuous: Open crossings of up to 9 miles one way, portages, and/or rapids above Class 1.

 

In addition, all trips are subject to safety factors associated with, among other things, location, total distance, weather, remoteness, volume of river flow and tidal currents.
