Spring 2004:

Snowbird Paddle:

Ready for the long and arduous paddle to the Goose Spit.

A magnificent view of a Canadian institution.

The Snowbird paddle to the tip of the Goose Spit was held on a perfect Sunday morning.  It was one of the most popular of all the recent club activities.

Cape Lazo – Kye Bay:

Sunday morning - off Cape Lazo

Planning lunch?

Seven of us left from Point Holmes to paddle to north towards Little River and back.  After a very relaxing morning paddle through the rocks of Cape Lazo and across Kye Bay, a “wilderness” lunch was taken in the splendor of Bev and John’s yard at Kin Beach.  The return trip was not as much fun, thanks to the arrival of a strong south easterly wind.  Not wishing to become a statistic in the Coast Guard records, the trip was terminated on the sands of Kye Bay.
